Effective date: July 21, 2026
Our approach
Digtize, operating as Wahob, respects the privacy and rights of its customers and users. We disclose customer data to government or law-enforcement authorities only when we reasonably believe a request is legally valid, properly scoped, and binding on Wahob. We review each request and may reject, challenge, or seek to narrow requests that are invalid, overly broad, unclear, or otherwise inappropriate.
Requirements for requests
Government and law-enforcement requests should:
- Be issued under applicable law by an authority with jurisdiction over Wahob.
- Use valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, warrant, or equivalent instrument.
- Identify the requesting authority and responsible official, including official contact information.
- Identify the relevant account with specific information, such as an account email address, phone number, or workspace identifier.
- Describe the requested records and the applicable time period as narrowly and precisely as possible.
- State the legal basis for the request and include a signed copy of the supporting legal process.
A request directed to Wahob does not automatically cover data held by independent third-party services, including Meta or WhatsApp. Authorities should direct requests for such data to the relevant provider.
Customer notice
Unless prohibited by law or a valid court order, or when notice could create a clear risk of harm or defeat the lawful purpose of the request, Wahob may notify the affected customer before disclosure and provide a reasonable opportunity to seek legal protection. We may provide delayed notice when a prohibition expires.
Emergency requests
Wahob may voluntarily disclose limited information when we reasonably believe there is an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury and disclosure is necessary to prevent that harm. Emergency requests must explain the nature of the emergency, why the requested data is necessary, and why ordinary legal process cannot be obtained in time. An emergency request does not guarantee disclosure.
Data preservation
We may preserve specifically identified data in response to a valid preservation request, subject to applicable law and our retention practices. Preservation is not disclosure; valid legal process is still required before preserved data is released.
Scope of disclosure
When disclosure is legally required, we provide only data reasonably responsive to the request. Wahob does not provide governments with direct or unrestricted access to its systems and does not disclose encryption keys or create backdoors. Some requested data may not exist or may no longer be available under our normal retention practices.
Cross-border requests
Authorities seeking data across borders may need to use an applicable mutual legal assistance treaty, letters rogatory, or another lawful international mechanism. We assess cross-border requests under the laws applicable to Wahob and the requested data.
Submitting a request
Requests should be sent to support@wahob.com and addressed to Digtize (operating as Wahob), L/D 308, CHD City, Karnal, Haryana, India, 132001. Email delivery does not waive any objection to jurisdiction, service, validity, or scope. We may request additional information or formal service through another legally required channel before processing a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, our services, or our practices. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
